| Registering | |||
|
You can browse the auctions at any time without registering, but to post an auction (a project), you must first register. To register, simply click on the Register link. Choose a user name which you can easily remember, and fill in the other required fields. Your password will automatically be generated and emailed to you. You can change your password at any time by choosing the Member Services option and then clicking the Change Your Password link. You only need to register once, as you can change your user information at any time by choosing Member Services, and then clicking the Edit My Registration link.Notes: There may only be one account per email address. The system will not let you create more than one account with the same email address. We reserve the right to verify your account before it is activated. If verification is required, you will not be allowed to post projects bids until your account is activated. |

Posting a Project |

Once you have an active account, you are ready to post your project. Please select the appropriate category carefully. You can view all categories and sub-categories at All Categories. Suggest a new category here: auction(at)it-careernet.com. Hint: You can use HTML code in the large text areas. |

Note the type of
auction that you are are creating is a "RFQ" (Request for Quotations).
You, the
auctioneer, will decide who the winning bid submission is. The winning bid
submission is not automatically determined by price, since you may select
one bid over another depending on other factors, such as:

| Adding your Profile(s) | |||

Edit/create a professional profile in the Membership area. We particularly recommend this if you are a programmer and seek help from a colleague for any given project. Your

firms are strongly encouraged to post a brief company profile to the
Forum. |

| Completing the Transaction | |||
|
If you have accepted a bit and your auction closes an email will be automatically sent to the winning bidder containing your contact information. The winning bidder will contact you to arrange for payment and prepare for delivery of services. The seller may also contact you via the contact information you provided upon registration. |

| Leaving Feedback | |||
|
You should always leave feedback on the programmer after completing a transaction. This lets other users know what to expect from the programmer, whether that be good or bad. You can reach the feedback form by clicking on the Leave Feedback on Seller link on the item detail page. Please restrain from using foul or obscene language, as other users may be offended. Inappropriate feedback will be deleted. |
