For
non-EC nationals, we can assist them to work in certain EC countries by
sponsoring their work permit application and acting as their employer
throughout their time in the EC. In order for this service to be available,
certain contractual conditions must exist.
In particular, Global K’s UK
subsidiary Glow International Limited, and Global K’s German subsidiary
Global K GmbH, are approved sponsors of work permits in respect of non-EC
citizens wishing to undertake contract work in either the UK or in Germany.
For these sponsorships to be available, there may be a
requirement for certain contractual conditions to pre-exist, the principle
one of which is that we must have a contractual relationship with the
ultimate user of the contractor’s professional services.
So, if you have a direct contract with a UK or German
employer, or, if you have an agency contract and you can persuade the agency
to allow a direct contractual link between Global K and the agency client,
then we will be happy to help you obtain the work permit and will offer you
full tax, social security and legal compliance throughout your time in the
EC.
