MERIDIAN Technology Group seeks a SQL Server Developer JW6985 with 3 years experience and demonstrated working knowledge in one of the following databases technologies: Oracle (preferred) or SQL Server. Must have intermediate to advanced experience developing applications using Oracle PL/SQL (preferred) or SQL Server. Must also have intermediate to advanced experience with T/SQL and SQL stored procedures and views. Working knowledge and skills using Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and Microsoft SQL Analysis Services required. Development experience in a .NET environment preferred. ASP and/or ASP.NET and Microsoft Query Analyzer experience also preferred. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing and deploying reports in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, using Report Builder with an Oracle database. Use Microsoft SQL Analysis Services to build OLAP cubes and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services to build report models and produce reports in Report Builder. Maintain existing ASP and ASP.NET components and applications, as necessary. Generate documentation in support of development deliverables. Provide technical support and problem resolution to information system users. Follow established patterns and practices in all aspects of development assignments. Work directly with end users and other developers to define requirements, review design, develop and test assigned components.
