PLANIT Technology Group (formerly known as Dataline Consulting Services) is currently looking for 8 Windows Engineers for a consulting project in Richmond, VA. Experience and Skills Experienced Windows Engineer (at least 5-7 years of hands on experience with a variety of Windows environments) Project Management experience, with small, technical, high performance teams is a plus Microsoft Certified is a plus Extensive Active Directory and DNS experience is a definite plus Cisco experience is a definite plus VMWARE Experience is a must. Experience with Network Transformation and Server Re-IP projects is a definite plus Other Firewall experience is a definite plus (Raptor, Sidewinder, Juniper) Job Description Work location will be various sites in the greater Richmond area Weekend and off-shift work will be required on occasion for system maintenance Will be working as part of an integrated, hands-on team, technical team with representation from 3 Core Groups to complete the Network Transformation and Server Re-IP work associated with various state agencies. Will be required to produce appropriate documentation and weekly status reports associated with this effort. Will be required to evaluate legacy server, network, and security configurations, develop the detail plan for migration from the current legacy network to the new MPLS network, and perform the hands-on execution of that plan, working in conjunction with the assigned Network and Security resources.
