Senior Business Analyst/Business Analyst These positions will perform the data collection, data analysis, and design work necessary to complete all of the project deliverables. The positions will work in tandem with the business analyst already assigned to the project and under the direction of Chief Enterprise Architect and Enterprise Architecture Project Manager. Qualifications: The Senior Business Analyst/Business Analyst will: • Collect the data required to populate the various segments of the EA Tool via interviews, mining of existing databases and ad hoc data collection techniques. • Validate and format the collected data. • Enter the data into the EA Tool. • Develop “to be” architectures based upon the IT Strategic Plan and document them. • Develop policy and procedure for the implementation of Enterprise Architecture. Experience: • At least seven years (Senior Analyst)/three years (Analyst) of experience in Enterprise Architecture or related fields. • Familiar with formal project management methods and methodology (for example PMI). • Demonstrated experience in performing independent analysis through management studies, performance measures, strategic planning, or other analytical and evaluation deliverables. • Demonstrated experience in the development of policy and procedure in software architecture or software development. • Demonstrated experience in conducting interviews of senior staff and management for the purpose of data collection and strategy development. • Familiarity and experience with ABACUS is desirable. Project Deliverables: o Complete population of the technology layer of ABACUS. o Complete population of the services layer of ABACUS. o Complete population of the application layer of ABACUS. o Complete data reference model for ABACUS. o Complete business reference model for ABACUS. o Design a “to be” architecture for customer service. o Design the ABACUS maintenance process and systems. o Provide training and support for executive use of ABACUS. o Populate transit segment of ABACUS. o Populate integrative segment of ABACUS. o Populate administrative segment of ABACUS. o Integrate enterprise architecture into existing IT processes and procedures. o Provide training and support for line staff use of ABACUS.
