Honeywell employs more than 100,000 people in 95 countries. www.honeywell.com ---------------------------------------------------- Job location: Hyderabad Certifications: Windows Mobile / CE Preferred ---------------------------------------------------- Position 1 : Sr.Test Engineer(Windows Hardware Quality Labs) Qualification: B.E or B.Tech, ME/M.Tech in ECE/EEE/CS/IT (Full time a must) Experience :5 years Relevant exp: 2 years in independent Test Life cycle Management Essential Skill Set:- • Hands on experience in Windows Hardware Quality Labs test activity, processes, test suite • Should have been involved in complete testing in one or more products for Microsoft device driver certification activity • Very good exposure to SDLC and STLC phases; Exposure to Six Sigma and Project management practices is essential. • Microsoft or equivalent certification in Windows Mobile / CE is preferred • Good awareness and appreciation for mobile platforms like Windows CE, Symbian… • Understanding of mobile communication technologies like GSM, CDMA, messaging services like Blue-tooth, USB would be an added advantage • Understanding of driver installation (silent and automatic) • Experience in defining the test strategy, approach, methodology for Microsoft certification activity • Experience in defining test automation approaches, strategies and exposure in developing automation scripts for device driver testing and WHQL testing… • Experience in collecting, analyzing and interpreting metrics for different test life cycle phases • Exposure to effective defect tracking & management mechanisms • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills • Have a strong interest and passion to work with a multi-dimensional business and are energetic and ambitious; • Have flair to excel in delivery commitments • Have flexibility to mould in multi-disciplinary culture • Have strong business acumen coupled with result orientation • Possess good communication skill and organizing skill. ------------------------------------------------ Position 2 : Test Engineer (Mobile Platforms) Qualification: B.E,B.Tech in ECE/EEE/CS/IT (Full time a must). Experience : 2+ years of experience in device driver & mobile application testing….
