Job_Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:- 1)Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Analyze, design, code, test and implement application solutions. 2)Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. 3)Participate on a project team of Engineers, Analyst and Managers involved in the design, implementation and support of professional web applications for high performance, multi-user access. 4)Lead team of developers to design, develop and implement software applications using Java, J2EE, Oracle and related web development platforms, languages and tools. 5)Work in all stages of software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, business analysis, system architecture, high level design, software architecture, detailed design, data design, coding, testing, and creation of functional and Technical documentation. 6)Maintain system, applications, security, and network configurations; Troubleshoot application performance issues; Document and define technical requirements of the applications. 7)Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. 8)Write, update, and maintain computer programs or specialized software packages to deal with issues of fixed income, derivatives, brokerage portfolio management, trading, client reporting and equities etc. 9)Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. 10)Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. 11)Providing services to various clients in all areas of software development and support. REQUIREMENTS:- Masters in Engineering or equivalent with 3 years experience. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:- 1)Experience as lead developer in financial industry using the following technologies Java, J2EE, Web development, JBoss/Websphere Server, Oracle/Sybase and Data Modeling. 2)Must have skills like JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS, MQ, Spring, Hibernate, Jakarta Struts, Tiles, AJAX, Ant, XML, XSL and Java Script, Perl, Unix and KSH.
