We are currently looking for a highly skilled SAP Project Manager to join our client’s team in Vancouver, BC, Canada. In this challenging and rewarding role you will be responsible for managing a team in the implementation of their new SAP system. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project"s lifecycle from initiation to implementation and close-out. Our ideal candidate has demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent projects and managing many relationships within an organization. The incumbent will possesses in-depth experience with security technology; a high degree of professionalism and have strong technical knowledge of servers, networks, SANs, software distribution and monitoring. Successful candidates will be responsible for budgets, team development and management, and meeting the various demands of the project. They must be capable of giving expert advice in relation to the management and maintenance of the new SAP system and, direct the education of the users on the evolution and functionalities of the system. Brief Description of Duties: · Knowledge in SAP 4.6B to SAP Enterprise 4.7. · Drive scope and gap analysis activities to identify upgrade deltas between versions. · Drive the evaluation and implementation of BW (BI) in SAP Enterprise. · Research, design, develop and test new SAP FI/CO/BW functionality. · Participate in rollout/installation of new business systems and SAP functionality. · Serve as escalation point for SAP troubleshooting. · Provide functional advice and assistance to programmers. · Write functional specifications for application development, enhancements and testing. · Maintain and develop documentation for responsible area. · Maintain a thorough knowledge and in-depth field experience regarding emerging or job technologies required to fulfill the job, this could include formal or self paced professional development · Prepare project plans and schedules. · Provide status updates of assigned projects. · Recommend/conduct training.
