Job Description Windows Printer Driver Developer Develop printer drivers under Windows Vista. Highly technical position including design, implementation, and support of Windows driver components enabling partners and customers to develop products with in-house All-in-One system controller and corresponding embedded software. Requires strong organizational and process skills, ability to communicate and support others in the engineering organization, and strong desire to document work and design within a team. Major Responsibilities Design and implement printer driver components under Windows Vista with Visual Studio 2005 and the WDK: configuration module, filters, bi-directional communication. Develop solid core modules as well as reference source code ready to be modified by customers. Cooperate closely with embedded software developers regarding connectivity and job ticket exchange. Support multilingual user interfaces. Support scanner driver development where applicable. Required Skills System design and debug including ability to work in a team environment that includes embedded software engineers. Proficiency in Asian language a plus Authorization to work in the US for any employer Required Experience 5+ years relevant experience including C, C++, COM. Host software development using standard Windows development tools. Comprehensive understanding of printing architecture under Windows. Experience with inkjet printers, laser printers, or All-in-One products a plus. Familiarity with XML based descriptions like print tickets. Basic understanding of WIA and TWAIN concepts. Web Services experience a plus. Networking experience a plus. Bachelor's Degree - Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Master's Preferred or relevant experience.
