Inspiration from the Dalgety Flyer: |
|
I have made two such microlight flights, once around the world, and once to Australia. I wrote two books about flying the route, which are the only books about microlight flights on your routing, and you should read them carefully, because they were also written for people like you. One is called "The Dalgety Flyer", about the Australian flight; the other is "Global Flyer", about the world flight >>details. They also deal with the political problems, though my raw notes have a great deal more information. If you can't find them in the bookshjops, buy them off me (DF, £15.00 + £3.00 p&p; GF, £17.00 + £3.50 p&p, send a cheque payable to me at 2 Cyprus Street, London E2 ONN) or contact Brian online here. Two one-hour programmes about my flight, the first one of which should interest you, will be screened after Christmas on National Geographic TV.Why have you limited yourself to Paris - Beijing? Why not around the world? |
