The impulses originated in the individual fibers of the heart muscle are added to produce the electrocardiogram waveform. Leads are placed on the body in several predetermined locations, usually the extremities or the front of the chest, to provide information about heart conditions. In this project we used different operational and instrumentation amplifiers to detect the electrocardiogram signals. For our final project we implemented a wireless electrocardiogram monitor.
