Project: PROCESSSMART VERSION-1.3 (PRODUCT) FOR CYBERNET SOFTWARE SYSTEMS INC., SAN JOSE CA, USA October 2001 All software development begins with a need. This need for software, which is usually a need for a bug fix, an enhancement to existing software or a need for new software development, etc., is validated according to each company's business logic-usually a structured process of checks and approvals. This validated need is then considered for development. Process SMART aims at: ·Delivering a structured framework for gathering and streamlining the business needs of all users. ·Transferring their needs to the IT department and ·Making sure these needs are satisfied by the IT department The structured processes for checks and approvals are definable within ProcessSMART as templates. Each time a request for change (RFC) is raised, ProcessSMART routes it along a configurable business process template (also called Request Template). ProcessSMART then converts these approved RFCs into Change Management System (CMS) documents. These CMS documents flow along configurable software development life cycle process paths (also called Project Templates). Pre-defined request and project templates enable organizations to standardize their business procedures across locations and enable compliance to quality standards. As a Senior Systems Analyst, was responsible for the following: ·Planning the releases to production and co-ordinate with the quality teams to complete the testing requirements as per the test plans and sign-off from the users. ·Involved in Black Box Testing for this product, which includes: behavioral, functional, opaque-box, and closed-box kind of testing.
