Projects carried out in the last couple of years During the couple of years I have been responsible for many developments and mentioned below are some of the most important of them with an abstract of their functions and salient features. PROGRAMMABLE COUNTER: This programmable counter can use in any counting devices. Optical proximity is used to get the pulse. AT93c46 is used to store the preset count and a relay is used to indicate the over flow of count. Three seven segment displays is used to display the present count. This counter is capable to count 999 pulses from proximity. LOW SPEED TACHOMETER: This is an industrial product. This is used to measure the low speed like 1rpm to 100rpm. Here optical proximity is used to get the pulse from the motor. The rpm value is continuously displayed for each 20ms. Here three seven segment interfaced with microcontroller AT89C51 is used to display the rpm value. RTC BASED SHIFT ALARM TIMER: This is used to switch on the pump for particular time automatically by use of DS12887 24 pin RTC it has connected to AT89C51 microcontroller, The controller will reads the data from the RTC .then we can easily switch the pump up to six different alarm timings. For user interaction seven segment display and key pads has been used. MOISTURE METER: This is an industrial product that used to measure the moisture content of cotton, jute, corn, etc. Here concept of conductivity is used to compute the moisture. Normal wheat-stone bridge is used to find the conductivity. OP07 is used as the signal-conditioning unit. AD0809 is worn to get the digital samples. After getting the samples micro controller interfaced with LCD 2 ×16 will display the moisture in percentage.
