In this project FFT can be realized using DIT algorithm. In this process we exploit both symmetry and periodicity of complex exponential WNnk. TITLE: Image Enhancement using MATLAB. DESCRIPTION: Image processing involves the manipulation and interpolation of digital images with the aid of a computer. The task that involves in the image processing is to extract or display more information from the image for human perception. Several techniques like image enhancement, image restoration, image segmentation and image encoding. In this project Image enhancement techniques such as contrast stretching, map each gray level into another gray level by a predetermined transform action. TITLE: psycho acoustic and TNS models for AAC-LC encoder and implementation of MDCT on blackfin processor DESCRIPTION: The MPEG-2 AAC audio encoder is a fully state-of-the-art audio compression tool kit that provides performance superior to any known approach at bit rates greater than 64 kbps and excellent performance relative to the alternatives at bit rates reaching as low as 16 kbps. MPEG2 AAC LC ENCODER, most formerly know as Non backward Compatible (NBC). Compared to the previous Audio standards, AAC takes advantage of new tools such as Temporal noise shaping, backward adaptive linear prediction and enhanced joint stereo coding techniques. AAC supports a wide range of sampling rates (8–96 kHz), bit rates (16–576 kbps) and from one to 48 audio channels. First all the blocks were implemented in “C” floating point. The simulation results are tested in MATLAB. Then MDCT block was implemented in fixed point and ported in ADSP BF-533. TITLE: 2 \ 8 Multiplexer Client: Department of Telecommunication DESCRIPTION: The 2 \ 8 Multiplexers are used to combine four 2MB streams into one 8 MB stream. Each 2MB stream contains of information of 30 subscribers and it multiplexes 120 subscribers information into one electrical output. It can also do the vice-versa. Where in 120 subscribers information is decoded into 4-30 channels. It has also various alarms to indicate preventive and breakdown situations. (T.Sridevi)
