Conversant in these Operating Systems --- Red hat Linux, Microsoft Windows, MS – DOS Projects Undertaken So Far  6th Semester 1>Title: COSEQUENTIAL PROCESSING OF FILES Abstract: Here we provide the user the facility to produce the transcript of the student by merging two files master (student file) and transaction (course file). Where master file contains the student details like urn, name, address, semester, college and transaction file contains the student’s course subjects as well student urn number. We have also provided the user the option to perform heap sort on urn number of the student records stored in the student file and to perform four-way merge on four files. Language Used: c++ on dos platform 2>Title: BOOKS PARADISE Abstract: aims at maintaining information about the Books customers, author, publication and transaction through computerization of “BOOKSTALL MANAGEMENT”. It mainly concentrates on maintaining the details of the Books, which have arrived and sold. Also our project maintains the transaction details like purchasing and returning transactions. Provides the required information and generates the reports as and when required. It has appealing and attractive data entry forms to enter the details in the respective records. it allows easier movements between the created forms and reports. Tools used: visual basic & oracle 3>Title: CD PLAYER. Abstract: playing .wav & .cda format audio. It is same as CD player in any other Operating systems like Linux, windows. It has got good user interface, mouse driven. With Lots of options like pause, stop, play, and eject cd-rom. Language Used: C language on dos platform.  7th Semester 1>Title: ONLINE BLOODBANK Abstract: Our project Blood Bank which keeps track of all the needs that are being needed for blood are maintained and traced out. The information freely available for all clients those who wish to go through it and also for the clients those who wish to donate the blood (Donor), we provide the information regarding the eligibility for donating the blood. And also accept the Queries for the need of the Blood. This optimum defined above is achieved by implementing a web- solution-using file as a database storage system. Language Used: perl & Html 2>Title: SMTP & POP3 Client Abstract: The client side applications implemented here are similar to the ones used in sending and viewing the received mails on a system present on a network. The SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) protocol is used to send mails to the server which in turn forwards the mails to the destinations. There are several status codes associated with each request from the client. The POP3 (Post Office Protocol version3) protocol is the standard for viewing the mails of a particular user. The essential requirements for retrieving a mail from the mailbox are to know the user access keys (password). Language Used: c on Linux platform 3>Title: SIMULATION OF CPU SHEDULING ALGORITHMS Abstract: This project in JAVA exploits the graphics capabilities of java, this is stand-alone program. Covers the following CPU-Scheduling algorithms: First Come First Serve (FCFS), Shortest Job First (SJF). Round Robin (RR), Priority Scheduling (PR). The demonstrations of these algorithms are done by graphical representation for an implemented set of processes. Language Used: java on windows platform  8th Semester 1>Title: ANTIVIRUS TOOL KIT Abstract: This project is a step towards understanding the intricacies in detecting and eliminating viruses that may be present in the system. This detects & removes the viruses from the computer; it also recovers the loss caused by viruses. Virus may infect MBR (master boot record) or executable files like *. Com. so we are considered some dos file virus& some boot sector virus in dos environment. It has got good user interface with menu driven options.
