I am also experienced in SQL SERVER, Microsoft Access, HTML, Visual Basic, Siebel, PeopleSoft, Data Warehouse/Info Portal, Lotus Notes, PC applications & server technology. I am experienced in leading teams which migrate mainframe applications to new generation systems & platforms. I also have extensive experience using the Microsoft Office suite: Microsoft Outlook, Windows 2000, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. EXPERIENCE Siemens Medical Solutions, Malvern Pa Manager – IS Applications Support & Development 1999 to present Accomplishments: Integral part of a development team to convert a Legacy CRM system to Siebel 6.0 with approximately 700 users. Served as the manager of support and support rollout coordinator. Integral part of a development team to convert Legacy back office systems (A/R, AP, Purchasing Billing & Contracts, Time & Expense) systems to PeopleSoft applications . The rollout was to 5,000 users. Served as the manager of support during the rollout. Developed Service Level Agreements for all IT application support and created metrics and processes to accomplish the objectives Chief Project manager for the sunset of the Legacy Systems, which includes sunsetting mainframe applications, vendor client/server applications, and local client/server applications. · Managed a group of 10 application programmers and the support for 74 applications in multiple environments and platforms. · Worked as as a technical programming resource along with the team · Managed a group of 5 after hours oncall teams · Managed enhancement projects to existing applications, using the quality cycle development process. · Worked with development teams to ensure a seamless turnover of new applications occur. Shared Medical Systems, Malvern Pa 1994 - 1999 Advanced Programmer/Analyst IS Financial Systems Group Accomplishments: Worked directly with the Accounting department who was my main customer, and throughout this position I was able to programmatically automate many of their manual processes, and I streamlined a lot of their workflow. · Performed application development on the internal financial systems. I performed enhancements and developed solutions and programming automations for these systems, and I worked extensively with COBOL, COBOL II, CICS programming, MVS JCL, TSO, DB2, VSAM during these projects. ‘ · Served as technical lead for the Y2K conversion effort. · Other projects I worked on in this position provided me with experience in SQL Server, Microsoft Access programming, and some Visual Basic and HTML. · I also provided application support in this position and provided oncall support of the nightly batch flows. Shared Medical Systems, Malvern Pa 1992- 1994 Supervisor, Data Center Technical Support · Provided first level dayend support for a very large scale set application batch flows. · Ensured online system availability of approximately 300-500 customer systems and ensured and response times met requirements. · Performed major database and file recoveries due to hardware failures, corruption, etc. · Provided first level technical support for Siemens customers. · Provided support for Siemens employees for many of the inhouse mainframe systems. · Acted as a liaison between SMS personnel and clients. · Performed extensive mainframe application support for systems which use JCL, TSO/ISPF, CICS/OAS, DB2, & VSAM. · Some work exposure to DB2 and VSAM.
