The application SEND is designed to integrate with MAPS for all receipts, movement of finished goods and update back MAPS on dispatch related details. The proposed system will maintain all details about dispatches and excise duties to be paid on those dispatches. The system also proposes the plan for dispatching the goods taking into consideration of all the parameters such as the location, transporters, trucks capacity and road permits required for transportation. Role ---- * Understood the software requirement specification. * As a part of the research and development was involved in the development of Transporters, Location and Trucks Masters. 2.Opal Integrated Interface Project : Opal Integrated Interface Duration : August 2003 - April 2004 Client : Packaging Paper Board (PPB) Software : ASP.Net Project Details --------------- ITC Infotech India Ltd is designing a web-based solution named OPAL II to connect the various systems, processes and workflows used by PPB. OPAL II will link the MRP system with the workflows, eliminate duplication of data and provide a user friendly, web based interface for accessing data and reports from the MRP system. The problem domain is partitioned into various modules such as the Development Need Specification, Customer Order Management System, Masters, Production Schedules and Covers, Journey Cycle and Complaint Records, Security system, Supplier Order Management System, Journey Cycle and Complaint Reports, reports publishing system. The system is used for displaying read-only masters that are uploaded from MANMAN the MRP system used by PPB for its manufacturing planning. It allows the user to add and modify data to the Masters available from the Opal System. The system enables the administrator to configure the User Groups and assign Field and Module Level Access Rights thereby ensuring the security of the system. Role ---- * Understood the software requirement specification. * Created Low Level Design for COMS and JCCR modules. * Developed the Masters and Administrator modules. 3.Question Pack Project : Question Pack Generation Duration : January 2003 – April 2003 Client : ITC Infotech India Ltd Software : Visual Basic 6.0 Project Details --------------- Question Pack was a system developed for ITC Infotech India Ltd. This system allowed the user to generate set of question papers randomly based on a technology later to be used by the recruitment board to test the candidates. The system allowed the creation of roles like the administrator and user based on which the access rights were allocated. The administrator could key in and modify questions of a particular technology based on certain difficulty level, he could also delete the obsolete technologies and add new ones. The user could create a set of question papers based on a question paper template to ensure that there is no repetition of the same set of questions. Role ---- * Had an understanding of the proposed solution. * Involved in developing the administrator's module. * Performed Unit and functional testing. 4.Lifestyle Retailing Business Division (Vendor Management System): Project : Lifestyle Retailing Business Division Duration : May 2003-July 2003 Client : LRBD Software : ASP Project Details --------------- On the basis of study of the IT requirements of LRBD for the Popular Segment Launch, I3L has identified various functional modules in the proposed PSL IT solution. The Vendor Management System is one of the functional module designed to capture design-code wise estimates based on the size-set entered for each distributor. The system would also generate the Buy-Plan for fabrics, RDC allocation and calculate National Size-Set ratio after the estimation exercise is closed for a season. Vendor Management System is also designed to maintain details of various business entities like Distributors, ASEs, ASMs, NSM and other HO users. Masters module provides access to Vendor Management System based on the profiles and roles created in system and the various access rights defined and given to them. Role ---- * Understanding of existing design to carry out proposed enhancements to the product. * Involved in developing the Masters module. 5.Webleaf Project : WebLeaf Client : ITC Infotech India Ltd Duration : June 2002- August 2002 Software : ASP Project Details ---------------- Webleaf is developed to meet the ILTD’s Customers requirement. Through this portal the customer can place an Enquiry. Once the Enquiry becomes order, he can track the delivery of the order through the portal. This portal gives him the update status. Role ---- * Understanding of existing design to carry out proposed enhancements to the product. * Involved in carrying enhancements. These requirements were fulfilled using Oracle 8i and ASP.
