SAP Professional Experience CBA Group, NJ May 2004 – Jan 2005 SAP ABAP/4 Technical Consultant Worked in implementation of SAP 4.6B SD module and was responsible for Optimization and analysis of the ABAP/4 programs, data migration using SAP standard data transfer workbench and testing and documentation of all the activities. Responsibilities: • Created report lists for gross sales, credit returns, and gross weight for the customer for the current year and comparing the same with that of the previous year for the same period. • Created an Interactive Report for displaying vendor information. Based on the selection made by the corresponding Vendor Bank Details are listed such that the line selected in the basic list was visible along with the secondary list. • Designed and coded a BDC program for sales order that updated records in the sales order screen or will create new sales order depending on the source data file from external system using Transactions. • Used ABAP-query for reporting. • Worked with functional and technical consultants to prioritize defect fixes and retested the programs. DigiBlitz Technologies Inc., VA Jan 2004 –April 2 004 SAP-ABAP Consultant Worked in the full cycle implementation of SAP 4.6 B for the MM module and was responsible for developing and testing BDC programs, reports, interfaces, ABAP queries and SAP scripts. Responsibilities: • Created a Vendor Performance Report, which lists the Vendor name, Materials supplied, planned and Actual Delivery Times, Payment terms and prices. • Created a Classical Report to display a list of Purchase Requisitions with details like MRP controller, release date, unit of measure along with the standard details. • Created a Report which lists the delivery no, delivery qty, customer no, material no, material description for the given shipping points. • Using the standard data conversion program uploaded the material master data from legacy system to SAP R/3 using flat files. • Developed BDC programs to fix data. • Designed and modified layout sets according user requirements. Indorama Synthetics Pvt. Ltd, India July 2003-Dec 2003 SAP-ABAP/4 Programmer Worked in the SAP project (version 4.6B) and was involved in developing, testing, and correction of BDC in MM and SD modules. Responsibilities: • Identification of all BDC programs in SD and MM modules, which have been effected by the upgrade. • Developed data transfer interfaces including Classical, Call transaction and direct input methods for sales order. • Coded BDC program changes to make them work correctly in the new version test these BDC programs and document results. • Reviewed all SAP MM reports and carried out modifications as per Clients requirements. • Worked in a ALE/IDOC team to establish the Business Processes and facilitate data transfer between SAP to SAP and SAP to external systems in the areas of sizing, development, unit testing, performance tuning, implementation, Application Integration and the technical enhancements and production support. • Located obsolete tables and prevented any data loses. SimSoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Nagpur, India July 2002 – June 2003 Worked as a part of a team on the development of Site Studio, a web-based site builder. Software Developer (i) Project Title: Site Studio Environment: Java 2.0, Java Swing, and Oracle Responsibilities: • Responsible for the image-maker add-on to Site Studio that allows on-the-fly image generation using a customer's colors, text and pictures. Currently using Sun's Java Advanced Imaging API to achieve flexibility and speed for the image-maker. • Developed an E-Commerce enhancement for Site Studio that allows the online stores to be made with the program. Programmed a hierarchical inventory manager that allowed unlimited levels of subcategories and items, and included support for cross sales and hot item sales. • Designed a framework for handling database-driven object persistence in Java servlets and used it as a foundation for developing a reusable user management system. • Developed a number of side projects, such as a full-featured web counter service. The service allowed collection of web page access statistics. (ii) Project Title: Research and Development Environment: Java 2.0, Java Swing, and Oracle Responsibilities: • Responsible for tracking the Java marketplace and introducing technologies to the development team • Designed a java based rich client, and GUI design tool. • Resolved issues such as web deployment, security, optimization and porting across Java releases, in a timely manner. • Member of project team developing initial Cause & Effect java client. Introduced Java Beans and Swing to the project. • Used JDBC to replace a proprietary Oracle DSS database gateway. SimSoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Nagpur, India July 2001 – Jan 2002 Intern (Trainee) Environment: SAP R/3 (version 4.6 B), Java, Oracle Responsibilities: • Study of possible integration of SAP R/3 with Java technology. • Created Tables and Views. • Created Structures according to the analysis. • Analysis of Standard Reports. • Performance workbench tools like runtime analysis, sql trace. • Testing the Converted reports according to the standards. • Documented each and every change made in the report.
